Who We Are & What We Do
Women in STEM is a club that aims at bringing women and men of TRU in STEM courses together and motivating more women to take part in STEM courses. It is our goal to have young women see their potential in said courses and to encourage them through events and workshops to pursue such streams for their future.

President
Rhythm is a second-year Bachelor of Computing Science student. She aspires to be a Cybersecurity Analyst.
Kushal Patel
Communications Chair
Kushal is a third year Bachelor of Science majoring in
Biology. She has a deep
interest in field research,
data analysing, and
laboratory experiments.
Daanish Kumar
Secretary
Daanish is a second-year Bachelor of Computing Science student. He aspires to be a Software Engineer.

Leticia is a second year architectural engineering technology student. She aspires to become an architect.

Faculty Advisor
Mridula Sharma
Ms. Mridula Sharma did her PhD from University of Victoria and currently works at Thompson Rivers University as an Assistant Teaching Professor since 2012. She has been a part of Women in STEM TRUSU club since the club was first established and is motivated to have more women join STEM courses like herself.
